Hourly chauffeur: private driver by the hour in Medellín

Hiring a private driver by the hour keeps one vehicle and one driver with you across your entire schedule. Your driver waits parked outside each stop, whether you have consecutive meetings in El Poblado, appointments in Ciudad del Río, shopping at El Tesoro, or dinner in Provenza. You leave your jacket or bags safely in the vehicle between stops, step out when ready, and avoid looking for a new ride every two hours.

You ride in licensed white-plate vehicles covered by Colombian contractual and extra-contractual civil liability insurance. Inside each vehicle, you have braided charging cables for USB-C and Lightning devices. Drivers are trained through our Safe Travels Go Academy in defensive driving and customer service. Some drivers speak conversational English, and all carry mobile translation tools on their phones to coordinate stops and schedules. If you need 4G Wi-Fi on the road, request it during booking so our dispatch team can verify network coverage on your specific route.

The service requires a minimum continuous block of three hours. Each contracted hour includes up to 12 kilometers of driving, which equals 36 kilometers within a standard 3-hour urban booking. This allowance covers travel across Medellín, Envigado, Sabaneta, and Itagüí. For trips up to 4 passengers, we dispatch executive SUVs. For larger groups up to 8 passengers, we assign private minivans or vans. Sedans are currently inactive in our fleet.

Rates are confirmed in writing before your trip begins. Urban hourly service within the Aburrá Valley starts at 70,000 COP per hour, totaling 210,000 COP (around 64 USD) for the minimum 3-hour block in an SUV. Regional service to the Oriente Antioqueño starts at 80,000 COP per hour. To confirm your reservation, we require a 50% deposit via Wompi payment link or bank transfer, with the remaining 50% due at least 72 hours before your pickup. If you book with less than 72 hours notice, the full balance is paid upon confirmation. Drivers cannot accept cash on board.

Our service covers the entire Aburrá Valley and connects to nearby municipalities in Antioquia. If your schedule runs longer than planned, you can extend your service at 55,000 COP per additional hour, billed in 15-minute fractions of 13,750 COP, subject to driver availability. Services operating between 20:00 (8:00 p.m.) and 05:00 (5:00 a.m.) carry a standard night surcharge that is calculated before you confirm. Our operations team monitors your booking through WhatsApp to resolve any route adjustments along the way.
